These used to be all the rage, especially BJFE. Anyone still using them? I’ve bought and sold a lot of them over the last 10+ years. I still have a Bearfoot Dyna Red 4-knob that I really like. I tried to sell it but nobody wanted it because the finish is literally falling off. Glad I pulled the listing. It’s pretty great.

Yeah, they were pretty good. I never kept any around for longer than 6 months.

HA! Same here. Bought into the hype and flipped them. I’m such a sucker. But seriously, some of them are outstanding.

I had the Candiru octave fuzz on my board until very recently. It'd still be there if it wasn't for the fact that it needs some expert care.

My Bearfoot Blueberry is the best distortion pedal I have. Every new one I try never makes it to my board.

The guy who runs mad professor had a company called BJFE. He let's the guy from bearfoot use the circuits he designed because those pedals were going for around 500 bucks.

Mad Professor (Finland) is producing some of BJFE's (Sweden) designs, as was (is?) Bearfoot (US) too. But they're different companies. Mad Professor is selling their own designs also.

Björn Juhl (BJFE) himself is making only very small quantities, all hand built.

At least, this is how I understand their relationship.

Bjorn also licenses design and build rights to One Control. I have the One Control Honey Bee, and it's fanastic.

I read about it, around the time I bought that one, and Bjorn says that at that time (... 2020-ish) the One Control was the most updated of all the circuits (at least as regards the Honey Bee).

Also, and I'm not sure I got this right, but it seemed that BearFoot wasn't always making the exact circuit, but sorta their own flavor of it. One Control makes the same thing as Bjorn hand wires.
