Best reverb for $50 or under? Biyang Babyboom Tri-Reverb or Caline Snake bite? Or something else?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I can recommend the Tri-Verb. Been on my board over 6yrs and works and sounds great!
I keep mine on the Hall setting. Mix around 9:00, time at noon and the a/b switch on the B setting. The a/b is kind of a EQ and works for all the verb types.Mine is coming in a few days.
Do you have a few fave settings ? ( I know there is a A or B setting for each type right?)
Thanks, the B is less extreme right?I keep mine on the Hall setting. Mix around 9:00, time at noon and the a/b switch on the B setting.
It's actually a bright and dark switch like a tone control. B setting is dark. Thanks, the B is less extreme right?

I ordered the Tri-Reverb ( along with Caline Orange Burst) as I have an amp, whose Reverb, I'm not thrilled with.
So I did get the Donner RevEcho, which is a good idea, sounds good
Having both effects in one pedal is a great idea.

Still, I'm curious to hear maybe some more versatility/options from the Biyang
Yes, please let us know how the Biyang compares to the Revecho. I want (ok, I need, lol) a delay too so that Revecho interests me.
Does the Revecho sound bright/tinny and color the sound at all? What do/don't you like about it?
From the clips I heard, the Biyang Tri-Reverb maybe sounds more smooth, natural, transparent (maybe warm, hopefully not too much or muddy).
I'm wondering if I can be happy with the Revecho for my main reverb/delay. I just like a like smooth, natural bit of space to breathe. And a delay to sustain and fatten things up at times.
i'd probably splurge a little more for a HOF v1 used, maybe the minis are cheaper than the full size. the toneprint stuff makes it flexible, better build quality, and if you don't like it you aren't out the money you put in to try it...that's been on of the problems with the cheapo pedals with me, if i don't like them, they just become doorstops because it's not worth the effort selling a pedal that was 30 dollars new.
(btw sorry, bgmacaw, I'd disagree. On mine the The Res control moves it from from Spring all the way to Cathedral and with the right settings on the two filters even a sparkly-shimmer.)
