Hi,
I am brand new to the forum. I am also an amateur guitar player. I have been learning and playing the acoustic for a while and my wife surprised me and bought me a new Telecaster American Standard with a Fender G-DEC Junior Amp.
I was really excited about playing the electric because of the ease and flexibility it brings. However, I also discovered it has even more challenges than the acoustic in that you now have to figure out how to replciate certain artists "sound" by maniuplating yuor amp and effects gear.
Is there anyone that can help me to figure out how to get the 'Billy Squier sound" from my existing amp? I know he used a Marshall 100, but with all the gadgets the G-DEC has on it one would think I can replicate the "sound" to some degree.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
