Yep, he used it a ton when I saw him in October. The biggest memory of that concert, and four guitar friends who were there, but not with me all said the same thing, was when Dusty hit the open E during a lil talk break. Everybody felt that one in the chest no matter where you were...good times.

I may be getting old and my eyes fading, but I'm pretty sure there are no strings on that guitar, not that Billy that would stop Billy. (This was a poor attempt at humor)
He plays .008's so there's not much there to see...lol.

Well he does profess to playing 7's. Not much to see.

I saw this guitar in August. It was a wonderful day starting with sedation, a colonoscopy, a couple drinks, 3rd row Zed Zed, aaaaaand I don't remember much after that.

Hmmm

I see a neck change along the line.

Your pic the whole finish both guitar and neck match.

The one I posted in the first post does not.

And the Dusty photo I posted above your post does not match necks
either.

That was what ZZ was playing when I saw them in Oct in W. Palm Beach. The Rev makes any guitar sound great.

Billy Gibbons has a bunch of one off style guitars. He has a different one every time I see him on Tv or whatever.

He played this one at the Texas International Pop Festival a few weeks ago. I didn't count how many guitars he used (several) and they ALL sounded like Billy Gibbons playing. He had a small wall of Magnatone amps, although those coulda been for show.....for all I know, he used an old Deluxe with a line-out to the PA.

He used to run through those JMP-1 preamps, with individual presets programmed for each guitar to be used and all to sound the same as his Pearly Gates LP. And he took his PA sound from an ISO cab offstage. Youtube has a review of his gear then, not sure what he is doing now.
