It kinda weird to finally realize that Walt and Jesse were unknowingly walking above the buried bodies of Howard Hamlin and Lalo Salamanca beneath the underground lab in Breaking Bad.
yes, i thought about that, too. Gruesome!

But they wouldn't have even known either of those guys.
Just strangers' skeletons.

I can see the next series being a wacky comedy clone of Ghosts where Lalo and Howard are doomed to spend eternity tied to the location unless they finish their business on Earth. A Mexican restaurant was built over the site (recurring guest stars and a living cast). Lalo complains about something and Howard responds, "But you shot me in the head!". Cue laugh track.

I think that Breaking Bad was excellent, but I think that Better Call Saul jumped the shark once Howard Hamlin died.
I was not impressed with the last two episodes at all.
You’re right, there was a jarring change in plotline and style after Howard’s murder. But, for me, the scene of Lola entering Saul’s apartment, candle flickering in a wisp of impeding doom, leading up to the shocking execution of Howard was one of the most gripping, wtf moments in television. They didn’t keep the same drama level and suspense turned on after that memorable scene.

How could they?
No knock on the writers but it'd be very difficult to keep it at that level.
Devastating drama.

Every part of the world that isn't "middle America"? Nobody where I live has ever heard of it except maybe when it's referenced in an American movie.
I've never been to a Cinnebon. We don't have one here.
Fun trivia: Michael McKean, who plays Jimmy’s brother Chuck, is also a well known comic actor best known for his role as David St. Hubbins, lead singer of Spinal Tap in the cult 1984 rockumentary satire, This is Spinal Tap.
Well, duh!

The GOT effed up ending had to happen.
It gives everyone in Hollywood something to point at and say, "We didn't screw it up as bad as THEY did..."
I binged GoT with my wife not that long ago, she had been buying the series on DVD as each season came out, but I was just not interested at all at the time. So I had already heard how terrible the final episode was long before I saw it. And guess what - I liked it! I'm still not sure what everyone hated about it. Was it just that the dragon lady killed everyone? There were clues earlier in the show that she was going to do that. And for the record my wife feels the same way 🤷🏻

They could have ended the series with the following wrap-up episode which tied up most of the dangling plot lines. Then, they could have done a follow on movie (in color, please) like El Camino showing Jimmy/Saul's ultimate fate. While I liked the final episodes, I think I would have like this option more.

I think there were certain fan groups that idolized the character who were offended by her fate.

A lot of people, myself included, thought that the entire last season was nowhere near as good as the rest of the series.

Aria jumping up and knifing the bad guy? Meh.

Cersei and Jamie just getting crushed by a collapsing building? Meh.

Daenerys going nuts and destroying Kinds Landing after it surrendered? Goes against everything she represented during the series.

Bran being "elected" King of the Six Kingdoms? Boring.

Really disappointing.

It would be as if, in the final episode of Breaking Bad, Walter White had had some sort of epiphany and decided to move to Canada for the free health care.

I've got to admit that the entire series LOOKED really good. The cinematography was excellent throughout.

The only one on your list that had me face-palming was the Aria leaping out of the dark and killing that dude and then the whole Army collapsing etc, that was absolutely stupid jump the shark crapola, pathetic.

But the rest, I dunno, worked ok for me 🤷🏻

None of those plot lines bothered me a bit, on paper. It was the rushed execution that made it so poor. And I suppose there's just no way to make a 5'1" girl attacking a giant ice demon look convincing...

Well, the Cersei and Jamie thing was just lame.

Anyone who was surprised by Dany turning full-on crazy/evil just wasn't paying attention, the signs were always there. Anyone not expecting the Starks to triumph in the end wasn't paying attention either.
