    Indeed!
As a young, over-playing, and overconfident guitar wrangler, I was once told “When in doubt, lay out!”
by pedal steel legend Jimmy Day.
He thought I didn’t know a tune we were playing.
I did, he just didn’t like my playing quality or quantity.
    He apparently had heard enough.
    Thanks for listening.

When hunting monsters, be careful not to become a monster yourself.

I actually followed that advice in another thread right before posting in this one.

And a nice corollary regarding work emails is, if you're wondering if you should press send on that email you just wrote, don't.

I did that about 3 times yesterday. I must've matured a bit because I would've previously gone for the cheap laugh.

I do a lot of 'journaling'. Write a nice long piece getting things off my chest, or replying to something that may have upset me, then delete it..therefore making no enemies nor hurting anyones feelings.
