For me its my Twin reverb reissue or my 78 Vibro Champ. I'd love to have a PRRI an a Dr. Z Carmen Gia.

I use my Baja or my black paisley through a fender hot rod deluxe with a boss me-70. It works for me!

Play it like you stole it!

For me it's my barden equipped tele and my upgraded peavey classic 30. But I hear lots of great combos!

My three teles are homebuilts, and I really have trouble deciding which one's my favorite. Ol' Simple, probably, though Philo the P-90ish esquire runs a close second. I have high hopes for the next one, which is an esquire-type waiting for its neck from Musikraft. The best amp to play them through--easy to say since I haven't any other--is my Peavey Classic 50 twin.

I've played my 72 thinline through that same amp, and it was some of the best tone I've ever had. Now I'm GASing for one haha

I have several Fender amps and I really like a Deluxe Reverb with a Tele.

+1 on the AC15! I love my AC15c1 with any guitar! And having the normal and the top boost channel is more than enough for me! Also love the Reverb and tremolo. I replace the Reverb tank with one that has a shorter decay and now is sooo sweet that i'm not using any reverb pedal anymore!

Maybe cause its fun to talk about this stuff and not every discussion has to be founded in concrete evidence? I doubt anyones ever tried every option. Seems time consuming. Maybe there should be a forum for those things so people can say what gear they in particular like so others can get ideas...

I'm sure in a thread this old and long this has been mentioned, but a tele through an old Supro can sound pretty nice.

Of course, you may have to hand the tele to Jimmy Page to get the full effect.

It's funny to me, because I saw the posting title, and my first thought was that everyone was going to be adiment about a Tele with a Deluxe being the holy grail, period. Now I read the first page and find that it's kinda general, tele with any blackface is nice for classic, but this and that Dr.Z, Vox, etc is nice, and I like *insert any name (such and such is perfect for me)* and a twin is nice for an outdoor gig.

Anyway, I just thought it was funny. I really like my tele with any blackface amp, tweed rock too. But pretty much any good amp I've tried sounds good with the tele.

There is always the guy that gripes about the question is to vague or broad or unanswerable. Why do people like that even come here it's not a science page. I mean it's guitar geeks and whatnot, Do they really expect something different.
