Slow day in premature retirement land so here we go.

Paul (Hard choice as I am not a big fan of his post work) – Band on the Run

    John – Imagine

George – Pretty much the entire All Things Must Pass album, but the purpose of this thread – Isn't it a Pity, or All Things Must Pass, My Sweet Lord, What's Life, Wah-Wah Hear Me Lord, I Dig Love . . . .

Ringo – I'm going to need some help here

    Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey (Macca).

Perhaps The No No Song (Ringo).

Paul has so many but my favorite is "Too Many People". There are a lot of nuances in the song and it's best to listen with headphones.

For John, I agree with "Imagine"

For George, I lean toward "Beware Of Darkness"

For Ringo, I'd have to say "Photograph". He cowrote that with George, who is also on the recording (along with Jim Keltner, Nicki Hopkins and Bobby Keys).

Very simple song but I've always loved it since the day the album was released.

Ringo -- Photograph (although that's sort of a George song).

Lennon -- lots to chose from. All of Plastic Ono was awesomely raw and DIY and probably wouldn't have seen the light of day with the Beatles. He had a bunch of gems and a bunch of duds as well. Mind Games, Instant Karma, Happy Christmas, all awesome. Whatever Gets You Through The Night, Cold Turkey, eh, maybe not so much.

Paul -- Not sure. I loved that song he did with the Foo Fighters on Sound City.
Edit: Maybe I'm Amazed. That's a good one.

George -- Plenty to pick from. The problem with George's songs for our purposes is determining what was written post Beatles vs what was in his back pocket during the Beatles. I love Wah Wah, but that's technically a rejected Beatles tune. Same with All Things Must Pass.

My favorite Ringo tune is It Don’t Come Easy.
For George, it’s If Not For You.
    For John, Instant Karma.
    For Paul, it’s Calico Sky.
My favorite of them all, Maybe I’m Amazed.
    Thanks for asking!

Paul: Silly Love Songs (I mean it. That song is genius. There is a lot of Paul’s stuff to choose from too, up to but not including Mull Of Kintyre)
George: the song on the end credits of Time Bandits, I dunno what it’s called
John: well, definitely not Imagine! I’d go for Jealous Guy or #9 Dream
Ringo: err... he did some good voice work on Thomas The Tank Engine...
(Believe you me I’m no Ringo-hater... I just think his niche was being a Beatle.)

My favorite. I like the humorous streak he has, perhaps from hanging out with the Pythons from time to time.

Don't care for post-Beatles stuff from Paul or John.

    Ringo's best post-Beatles moment...

Depends on my mood. All have wonderful songs. John probably has the fewest and Paul the most. Unfortunately the radio stations only play a limited number of each artist (probably ignoring much of Ringo's and Paul's more recent stuff. I personally like stuff that I never heard before rather than the "few" standards.

Then you probably like this one too.

(ha, horn sections! Whenever I hear horns I instinctively reach for the TV remote because that means Saturday Night Live is coming on and I want no part of that. Pavlovian Brass!)
