If you've not already done so, try his other solo albums - they're great. Morph The Cat is a gem.

This is an interesting work. I think it's only available in streaming formats, but worth the trouble. It's a collection of some of Steve Vai's best-known compositions, played on solo piano by the amazing Mike Keneally. 'All About Eve' is superb.

Rough Mix is one of the great little-known albums by a famous artist.

I'm still working on my cover of Spidergawd. It's tough to keep dragging the piano up the stairs.

Superb! Songs For a Tailor is one of the very best imho, and Out Of The Storm is another personal favourite.

Absolute gem of an album. I've always loved it. Turned me on to Ronnie and his whole Gypsy thing. 'Annie' is such a beautiful song, written about his babysitter.
