    ^^^ Yep. Solder sucker, chopstick, check.

    The list goes ever on and on, but this saves time hunting for sockets when installing pots, jacks, etc.

    A *good* step drill bit -- this one IIRC is Irwin -- is sharp and hard enough for reasonable hole enlargement in a steel chassis.
