There's tons of sites online, but i really want something that I don't have to worry about spending a lot of $$$, but also getting good quality.

I want a b/w/b pickguard for a MIM tele and don't want to spend a lot.

anybody have good experience with any online sellers?

I have experience with Warmoth and Allparts. Both fit great. Warmoth is $35ish with shipping, and I think Allparts was around $20.

Allparts is a good source. They have a good website and have always gotten things to me quickly. If you call in your order to them (or anybody, be sure you specify that you have a MIM tele. Just to make sure that holes line up where they should.

I've used pickguards.com before and they offer good service and fast shipping.

Often times you can find Fender pickguards on Amazon as well.

I have bought 4 different ones from ebay for $10 each or less. Ebay can be hit and miss but all the ones I got fit fine and seem to be of reasonable quality.

You can believe the hype or you can buy dirt cheap. Pickguards are seriously overpriced sheets of plastic. This place takes advantage of that fact buy selling then cheap by the truckload. They come directly from china but only take about a week to arrive. they fit MIMs and USA reissues perfectly. I cannot see anything about then thats lesser quality than fender or anything else. Plus they have 3 plys in not only 8 hole, but if you want 5 hole they have those too. They also have every imaginable color and pattern, tho stay away fromthe mint....it's this horrid green like in the pic. I bought one thinking it's likely a bad pic, but turns out thier pics are very accurate. Tele guards no matter the ply, color or pattern (like pearl, etc) are $5.51 and $4.99 shipping, so $10.51 total. The only difference is there is no foil on back. But i never found that to do anything anyways. Comes with screws too if you need em. http://stores.ebay.com/guitarpartsd...5349016&_sid=1029717136&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

I've had good luck with several AllParts pickguards.

Don't get a Mighty Mite. I just got an 11-hole Pearloid for my MIM Strat and a couple of the holes didn't quite line up; had to drill new ones.

That's pretty typical of a lot of them no matter where you buy according to the guy who works on my guitars.

I've gotten from the Chinese ebay place, Maverick Guitar Parts, Guitar Parts Resources, Fender Original Parts, (all five hole), and every one fit my Classic 50's perfectly.
