    Some people collect figurines and pay a lot of money for a collectible little piece of plastic. I guess that 20-25 for an original vintage allen wrench that initially came with the guitar is not total nonsense for a collection.

    I find it quite different than paying ridiculous amounts for, let’s say, a Danocater, that was selling for three or four times less a few months ago. In which case it is IMO hype that governs the buyer, and not the passion of collecting vintage items.
