    I never thought I would be a Tele guy either. For me the Fender AVRI '52 Telecaster is the #1 all time best looking and what most people think of when picturing a Tele. There is another though. The early 1960's Fender Telecaster Custom Rosewood Fretboard with DOUBLE BOUND body. That would be the Fender Telecaster "Custom" and my #2.

    Just snagged this 2014 Deluxe and it is growing on me. That said, still thinking about doing a pg swap.

    Thanks so much for the kind words. It's a MJT swamp ash body with Musikraft roasted maple neck. Nick Silver Django pickups.
    I cut the guard myself. Got the idea from Boris Bubbanov. The body is currently awaiting a new neck, so I can't really do any more pictures right now.
