My Dark British Racing Green '62 Custom style...?

Neck: Fender America Original 60s. Gotoh vintage nickel tuners, bone nut.
Body: 2 piece alder double bound finished by Rexter Guitars
Bridge Pickup: Lindy Fralin "Blues Special" Tele bridge pickup with a hybrid magnet stagger 7.3K Alnico V Magnets
Neck pickup: APC Adder T300N Brad Paisley
Controls: used from a fender USA Tele CTS 250 pots
Bridge: Fender America Original 60s with Gotoh InTune brass compensated saddles.
Guard: Axecaster 60s mint green 3 ply.

Great color on that one. Green is so easy to get wrong it seems but this one is so spot on.

I'm currently in a period of not being in love with this guitar...but it's still pretty.

Thank you.
Jon Rexter was brilliant and did exactly what I wanted here. Such a shame he has changed careers now. But so glad I have a few of his lovely finishes.

My money sez you will love that 2009.

I got a 2008 MIM just like that off muscians Friend for 299.00 on a stupid deal of the day sale back when. That case is above the MIM Tele's pay grade though. Mine came with the cheapest Fender gig bad I'd ever seen. Was a great Tele with a sorta medium V neck profile. Kept the neck and sold the loaded body for 275.00 ;)
The case came WITH the Tele, both for $600 total. So happy...

There are so many great looking Teles. And, I think most of my Teles are the "best looking" when I'm looking at them.

But I have to update my vote, for today. I "baritoned" my Fender Ash-body Special Edition Tele, with a Fender Baritone conversion neck, and I love the looks!

I'm a fan of your Mystic Red tele. Been keeping my eye out for one, or at least a used body.

Oh man, we're on the same page when it comes to the Mystic Red Fenders. Just for fun, let's see them again?

And my other all-time favorite Fender color is Jade Pearl Metallic:

I've learned that when these special colors are available, one needs to snap them up while you can, because they disappear in a flash! And sometimes, Fender doesn't repeat them for a very long time, if ever.

Gorgeous, indeed! Mahogany body, maple neck, ebony board, black guard and hardware, contour back! I absolutely love it.

Tell us about how it came to be?
It’s actually a mahogany neck as well! Pictures don’t do justice, but looks like a single slab from body to neck. Was tele-less for too many years and decided I wanted to have one again and do it right. Body and neck both from Warmoth, pickups are Keystone in the neck and noiseless Fender in the bridge that I had from previous projects. Liked the whole dark on light theme, and it plays incredibly well!

Love the JPM too. Reminds me of my old 80's Pewter strat after the clear coat yellowed a bit.
