    It actually was a tie.

Both of mine were amazing pawnshop scores.

    I picked up a well worn'78 Fender Natural P-BASS for $400.

I also scored a '15 Suhr Sherwood Green Classic Pro SSH in mint condition for $1340.

It was a very good year for me.

Yeah, picked up a Helix LT and sold off my pedals and Blues Jr. Best decision I've made this year, gear wise and cost effective for me.

Just double-checked: Bought the Fender Elite Tele and the CW in 2018. Jesus! I’ve spent a lot of money this year

Another toss-up. Between my Marshall Origin 50 Head and my PRS SE Custom 22 Semi-hollow.

    Wish I could post photos.
My best buy was a go to living room guitar- a Cort OM acoustic.
It has solid Mahogany b/s nd a solid spruce top.
Got it for $450 ( RRP $650) at my local ma and pa store that i've known them since 1980.
It's an acoustic cutaway with a Fishman system and tuner built in. Great little go to acoustic.

Probably a tie between a NOS 2012 Gibson SG 50’s tribute (P90s, 50’s neck) and a Squier thinline 72 modified tele.

This pedal by far, best pedal for that rotary speaker sound. No pedal comes closer to the Fender Vibratone sound.
It was a limited edition introduced at 2015 NAMM, only 900 units made. I found one at a small dealer this year, it was new in the box.

It was a good year to get rid of stuff.. I sold a bunch of gear that I never use, and pulled out some long neglected stuff from my past, and found I was fine w/ it. My music room now looks like a small shop from 1981, which is where most of this stuff came from...It worked then, works now. I did do a trade that netted me some cash and a Tacoma dred; no idea what model as the label is long gone. It looks like 20 miles of bad road, but seems stable, and sounds great, also has a unknown under saddle PU installed that is surprisingly good..
