Fletch is a very funny movie but Caddy Shack is one of the giant movies of all time.

Just as a side note, I looked up Audrey Barron several years ago. She played the original "Audrey" character in the first Vacation movie. I actually found her Facebook profile page and sent her a note. She responded to it, and we struck up a conversation over the course of a few days. It was really cool.

Vacation. If for no other reason than the end bit where he snaps.... "just going to buy some sporting goods honey". He should've got an Oscar for that performance.

I love his rant in Christmas Vacation, too, the one that ends with "Amen, Hallelujah...Holy Sh*t!"

Caddyshack is the better movie, but I wouldn't call it a "Chevy Chase movie" because it's an awesome ensemble piece. All comedy gold.

Caddyshack isn't really a "Chevy Chase" film, he's just one of many in that one.
