Wow, I haven't seen that in a long time! lol One I had on my car way back when was similar to this....I loved my MTV.
best 70's bumper sticker--> Jesus Saves, Espo scores on the rebound.
I laughed for a couple days when I saw it.
Boston Bruins hockey?
I wasn't even a big SST fan, but I had this one on a bunch o' stuff...
I thought sure it was gonna be the
"Feces Happens" one.
I graduated high school in '86 and a bunch of us took a senior trip to Panama City Beach.
Those stickers were everywhere.
Came to see if this had been posted yet. Not disappointed.
I miss the logo stickers that music stores use to have that proclaimed “authorized dealer” and then the year.
The hard core places left them up for year to year and even left lines that were dropped or out of business. Some places had so much stuff on the door you could barely see in the shop.. a whole history of gear on glass.
Anyone who lived in NE Texas/NW Louisiana/SW Arkansas ... basically within 100 miles of Shreveport in the 1980s will remember this sticker very well:
I grew up in North Louisiana and used to love 98 rocks
Didn’t they play one zeppelin song for 24 hours the day before they shut down?
They’re still up and running.
Maybe that was a station out of Monroe
They (D'Addario) used to give me t-shirts. The one with that image on it says...
Crazy story. When I was in high school there was a local punk band that got pretty popular. Not making a living, but a lot for some younger guys. They sold all kinds of ridiculous merch.
The guitar player ordered this Jackson custom shop guitar airbrushed with the Garbage Pail Kids. It must have cost a fortune.
I heard he smashed it, but I think I may have seen a more recent picture of it.
I don’t know what that means in Louisiana or Texas but around here there’s a Baltimore radio station that’s been on forever called “98 rock”
Here’s a few different ones also from the 80s I don’t know if they count or not although I’m pretty sure you’d see these dare stickers every where not that they are the greatest just what I thought of
On the case of an Ibanez SG copy I bought recently.

I bought this late 70's or early 80's tweed case for my '74 Fender Jazz bass a couple of years ago in a pawnshop for $10.
I told the sales guy there was NO WAY I'd pay him $20 for such a beat up case with all the stickers.
I actually wanted the tattered case with all the stickers because it would be more of a match for my well played bruised and scarred bass.
