Okay, I started the Virginia club, but I've made an Executive Decision. Yes, we should have a DC club. So this is it. CS

    Snow Day

So we're about to get hammered: 5"-10" west of town where I am. Fortunately the weather is going to warm up by the weekend, so the stuff will start to melt.

But I'm ready for it to be Not Winter. :-\ Heck, Daylight Savings Time starts this Sunday. CS

It occurs to me... TDPRI folks from the DC area have talked about meeting up at a gig sometime. To do that would require advertising gigs. Advertising in the gig forum would probably be ineffective, as we would need to sift through all gig posts from everywhere else. Is there any reason why we can't all use this forum to advertise gigs? I would think, in general, advertising gigs in the member clubs actually makes far more sense than advertising in the gig forum.

    Thoughts?

I like the idea. A lot of these clubs don't seem to get much activity, and something like that might get something going. After you join, what besides where you are is there to say?

Well if anyone is convenient to Falls Church this Saturday 5/18/13 and feels like dropping by Clare & Don's, I'll buy a beer for the first 5 TDPRI'ers who come out. :)

We got rained out on Saturday. Apologies to anyone who came out for the promised free beer.

I'm in VA but I can see Wilson Bridge from my bathroom window. Maybe with binoculars I could see Nats Stadium from my roof?
