This bag has been around the world with me...more than a few times. Their belts are fantastic. They also make a pretty nice guitar strap.

If you want to quit fooling around and buy yourself a serious belt that will easily last 20 years these are the guys:

I have bought all of my belts from them and I highly recommend them

They are also available on Amazon.

Their main business is making horse tack…bridles, reins, etc….and horse tack has to be made correctly…no second chances while on a horse.

I have three of their belts and will not buy from anyone else.

I think.im relying on this forum too heavily, but this seem like something SOMEONE is bound to know a thing or 2 about.

I've worn the same black leather belt with a removable buckle almost every day since 2005. View attachment 1099398View attachment 1099399
It's on its 3rd(I think) buckle after outliving the other 2. I bought it in Niagra Falls at the gift shop of the Rock Legends wax museum. Heres teenage me walking down the street in my punk/grunge flannel on an 80 something degree day:

There's a funny ish but unremarkable story there, but I'm getting off track already:

My belt is legally old enough to vote this summer, and I need a solid and reliable leather belt with a removable buckle to get me through at least 10 years before needing replaced. US or Canadian made and under $30 shipped preferably, solely based on how impossible it is to get a bead on QC otherwise.

Am I overthinking this? Probably.
Could I just buy a levis belt? Also an option.

Just hoping to find out if anyone has a "connection " for this.

Oh, and the Wax museum is closed, but the shop still seems to be there. I might call Canada tomorrow and thoroughly confuse some random person working the counter ;)
Been wearing Hanks belts for a while now. They’ll probably last longer than I will.

Another vote for a belt designed support the weight of a holster. I’m going on 15 years every day (without holster & weapon) and it looks and wears like nearly new.

I also like that it’s good and stiff. I hate a belt that starts to curl at the belt loops.

My 2.5"-wide Carhart has lasted a long time. The buckle is removable, but I've never removed it.

"Get a bead on QC"?

=O.

where can i get a real deal leather belt and not the junk ones at all the stores made of fake rubber leather?

one that will last me potentially a lifetime and with possibly some design on it.

Look at Hanks. They aren't super expensive but are of super quality. Every belt is guaranteed for 100 years. I've had 2. I bought the 2nd one because I lost weight. They are wonderful leather goods

I’m 22 pounds down in the last 38 days and I’m about to either have to buy a new belt or start punching holes.

I went with relentless tactical last year. It'll last at least a decade, I can't tell more than that for another year or 3.
Design, you're on your own. It used to be niche enough that only leather shops would have them, but the cheap stuffs everywhere now. I got a 1 piece of leather belt from Relentless, it fits levis just fine. If I was using it to carry a heavy firearm, I would have went with something more rigid. But I dint do that daily, so it wasn't an issue. I do wear it everyday though, and I could foresee it outlasting buckles. My pterodactyl ones getting scratched, and I caught some flack at work for the coke a cola one, so buckles are back on my list.

But simple not having to worry again leather belt, I recommend Relentless. There were other companies as much or more still doing studded stuff like I wore In the early/mid 00s, but I'm not a teenager and that shtuff was pricey compared to what I bought.

Most department store belts are crap….most online belts are crap.

If you want a good belt man up and buy one from a bonafide belt maker….it will cost you more than $30.00 but you get what you pay for…..here are two great ones:

1. Hank’s Belts…real 100% top grain leather with a 100 year warranty.

You can’t beat a warranty that’s longer than your life.

2. Your Tack - This is where I buy my belts….top grain leather that’s tanned in the USA and the belts are made in the USA.

I like their “Ranger” series of belts….and they are a great bargain…they’re shop is in a small town in Indiana….I discovered them 15 years ago…plus…if you “carry”…they make a great line of steel-core belts made specifically to support the weight of a firearm.

I just can’t heap enough praise on these guys…they’re wonderful to do business with and make a terrific belt.

thank you so much for your suggestion
