Did Ole Fuzzy pass away?
Someone posted on another forum that he died a few years ago.
Hey, Ric lets't style and profile.
To the best of my knowledge, Ol' Fuzzy is still on the planet, but I have no proof to actually back that up. Anybody know?
And, again, I didn’t even say that I believe it. I’m just reporting (with tongue firmly in cheek, by the way) what others have said.
I own Gibson guitars and basses and aspire to owning a few more. I’m no Gibson basher, that’s for sure!
PRS invented the Stratocaster.
I'll buy that as long as we don't insist on "pics or it didn't happen."
Well thank goodness that’s settled. All this time I thought there was some member limit and you got bumped when I joined. The guilt was killing me.
Glad to see you’re back. This place has really gone downhill while you’ve been away; Total anarchy, Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria! the whole deal... I’m pretty sure it’s just a coincidence that it’s coincided with my becoming a member.
Hopefully you can straighten things up around here and maybe add some class to the place.
Hey, I just took a Polaroid... give me a minute.
Fezz and Tim Bowen have also disappeared.
Some people have begun hoarding the ball ends of strings...
We've learned that guitar players and hi-fi audiophiles share many of the same ridiculous mythologies about things like directional cables and ion transfer through low-oxygen solder. This is a Web site dedicated to a guitar that can be built at home on a router table. The fidelity and capacitance obsessions do not speak well of us.
Things that haven't changed:
Guitar Center is about to go out of business.
The tonewood debate.
Things that have changed (in terms of general agreement):
Non-tube amps are getting closer to tube amps in tone.
Along with Japan, Mexico and South Korea, some really good guitars come out of Indonesia, and China.
Chet is gone. I miss Chet.
The word "redneck" is no longer considered a hate crime (depending on the context, of course).
That’s one of them cedar necks right? Or mahogany.
Oh! Oh! Some Tele's have butt cracks. Or was it belly buttons?
Some people really dig them. Others violently do not.
He has a Youtube presence as 0lefuzzy
Indeed. Chet's gone and Heather Ann Peel is a dude...…..and that's ok.
Makes you think. What if Chet's real name is Cassandra? It's a modern world.
0l fuzzy is still here! Thanks goo'ness gol dangit!
This may be common knowledge, but recently I observed my grandson putting peanut butter in one of those
Top Ramen noodle things, I thought it a bit odd and inquired about it. He said it tastes great and everyone does it now. However I hear that about many things that I know contradict his position.
It can’t hurt, if you like it, go for it.
