Give 'em the beans!
Vypyr VIP 1. And various ampsims through the computer, Kazrog and Audio Assault mainly. I'm more of a metal guy so these do the trick for me.

I have been an IT Dude in Higher Education for 35 years now, but I have been into music since I was 8 years old. I started on Piano, picked up the Saxophone in High School, and then the guitar in my 40s. I have never gigged, it has always just been for me. :)

I have a multitude of amps, the Fender Tone Master Deluxe is my pedal platform while the BOSS Katana Artist and Nextone Special are my multi-effects platforms. The Positive Grid Spark 40 and Spark Mini don't get as much use since I bought the two BOSS amps, but they still get plenty of play.

I just recently started dabbling in recording myself and am still working on the recording rig. It consists of a 27" iMac that runs PreSonus Studio One Artist, a Focusrite 2i2, and PreSonus E5 monitors. I am hoping to add a BOSS X-100 to the rig eventually.

For bedroom playing I use a Blackstar Fly 3 or at least I used to, A few weeks ago I scored a Yamaha THR5 and that thing is awesome....expensive but for a modelling amp it's pretty impressive given how small it is.

literally any amp (eg. 6534+, 2204 clone, 5w tweed combo) into a fryette power station.

from there, power station can run:

1) line out - 'silent' into a DAW, insert some IRs (cab sims) and you've got the best silent rig you've ever heard (no speaker load required)

2) using the onboard 2x5881 power amp - from super quiet to whatever the limit of the 100W power amp is, through a 4x12 mesa cab

Bedroom amp= Fender twin, gig amp=mesa or Marshall stack

For real though I either play a fender twin, the tone master version on full wattage or if I want to be more quiet and have amp crunch I use a newer 68 custom vibro champ

Side not for those who want the 68 vibro champ, if you want A LOT of crunch at a reasonable level it’s PERFECT! If you want nice cleans above the volume of a mouse fart look elsewhere, would make a good recording amp though…

Effects you say?

Any number of these…

I usually just take off what I want and use the couple on the floor, or put what I want to use in the first row on the board, when I made “the board” I wanted the most ridiculous board ever!

I don’t think the o.p was asking about stand alone FX but they are integral

Blues Cube in 5w mode or 15 w mode.

I practice unplugged a lot, actually. Or on nylon string acoustic.

I enjoy using my Tone King Gremlin
Great amp and the attenuator works great for bedroom use.
Strymon iridium
Great for silent recording or playing through monitors at bedroom levels. It’s my current “go to” set up.

Currently I use a PRRI as my bedroom amp when I want real tubes.

Currently a Boss GT1 into a Fishman Loudbox Mini charge.
Alternately my pedal board into a Joyo American Sound into the Loudbox.
Alternately one of my valve amps into a Two Notes into the Loudbox.

My home office setup is a wide variety of small amps and modeling devices but most often I use a '73 Princeton Reverb or Monoprice 5w into a Bugera Power Soak, into an IR cab pedal and then into a mixer. From the mixer I can bring in other audio (backing tracks, synth, etc) and listen via PA speakers or headphones and also record to a PC.

Me: Vox Vt40+ combo, Line 6 Spider combo,

Blackstar HT1 Guitar Amp

Line 6 Pod 2.0 & Zoom G1X4 pedal.
Headphones keep all quiet..
I play at home, but not in the bedroom. Living or family rooms, or on back porch if the temp and humidity are favorable. For this I need a good sounding, low power, light and portable amp. I use a Fender LT25 for this.
