Actually, what happened was weirder than that. My Dad had never ever heard me complain about a teacher before and he became skeptical about the quality of the public schools (and Catholic ones too) in that central Ohio town. So, when the guys at Bell Aerospace in Wheatfield, NY kept bugging him about leaving North American Aviation to go back and design for them, he thought about the possibly I was not learning and took the offer and we moved. I just found this out recently, almost half a century later. I think my Dad felt I was the bellwether of the other kids in the family and it wouldn't be wrong to say the public schools around Williamsville were spectacular by comparison. And had huge property taxes to go with it but when you got 4 kids in these schools it is easily worth it.

I wonder what he would've done if you had my witchy, grade 1 teacher?

My wife and I had lunch at the Planet Hollywood in San Diego a long time ago and we were seated in a booth that had one of Barbara Eden's Genie bras and tiny bottoms in a glass case on a clear plastic figure. That's what was pointed at me through the whole meal.

Tough meal. Kept telling myself not to look to the left; just look at my wife.

Barbara was tiny.

"Beaver Cleaver"?

I don't think Leave it to Beaver ever showed in Finland. After googling it'd be a bit before my time anyway. My immediate association was... well, that :p Were those really so innocent times?

The very next one had to do with cooking and Canadian popstarlets.

Actress Sue Randall played Miss Landers..yes she was the good looking teacher you remember from "Leave it to Beaver". I know she worked on Perry Mason and The Twilight Zone.

But Bat girl was never hot enough to make Batman consider compromising himself for a kiss like Cat Woman can.

Batman and Batgirl worked together...

Don't poop where you eat, as they say!

Not to mention, he saw himself as a father figure to her -- BatMAN, BatGIRL. I mean, seriously, how creepy would that have been! (Now, Robin on the other hand... Yeah, that was just creepy! ;) :D )

Miss Canfield was Beaver's first teacher. She was only on a few episodes. They were both goddesses. According to Wikipedia Sue Randall (Miss Landers) was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer.

Is a matter of probability…
Every kid my age thought Charley's Angels were hot! But when I see reruns now they look terrible, and I'm not talking fashions. Start Trek had many as guest that were nice. That was back when 95% of the cast were normal humans contrasted by some smoking hot alien ocassionally. Nowdays those percentages are inverted.
When Enterprise aired in the early 00's they managed to take one of the most exotic women on earth (Jolene Blalok) and make her look absolutely comical as Tapol her Vulcan character. Shame.
