i cleaned the garage Saturday morning and it was very warm. I decided to spend the afternoon in the basement cleaning the fish tank.

I bought the submarine in the toy isle at Good Will for $2.00.

    Beatles-ish?? Sort of? Maybe???

I can also do the evening spooky LED blue motif.

Did I mention that was working in a really hot garage all morning because that might explain a few things.

The fish can swim through the sub. I have a plastic John Lennon but he’s not going in the tank. Can’t do it.

    That garage was hot.

    That’s all I got.

Looks cool, I think that might be a legit beatles yellow submarine. I would put some psychedelic lights behind it. Maybe a color wheel projector and i'd put a set of beatles figurines in there too. Maybe see if you can find a baby walrus to put in there.:)

I, for one, like it. Pretty cool tank. I’d put some tetras, bottom feeder/algae eaters, and maybe a red tail shark or two. Some Beatle figurines would be a nice touch
BTW, how big is the tank?

You had to be there before the submarine was put into the tank in order to make an accurate assessment.

I personally don’t know of a fresh water octopus but the one we accidentally introduced to a marine tank raked major havoc in our tank. The only creature that caused more problems was a mantis shrimp

Here's some Beatles resin fish tank figurines. They are apparently available at Walmart.

    Just a 30.

I think it was an Octopus’s Garden joke. I need a psychedelic plastic octopus!

30 is a nice size. I’ve had 55, 70, & 90. All standard sizes. The 55 show was nice but not conducive for big cichlids like Oscars
Sorry I missed the joke. I get it now. Sometimes I’m really slow.

We had an articulated (air driven) octopus that would upset the Sergeant Majors to no end. We finally got rid of it and peace (as far as it could be) returned to the tank......until the next catastrophe occurred

I don't remember seeing that one. It would look weird with mag wheels.

I saw an octopus in a fish store once, and it seemed like a really cool idea. But it also seemed like the kind of idea that is so cool that it has to be really, really bad. I never actually got around to researching why an octopus makes a lousy pet, but I'm sure it must be true.

We have bright electric blue ringed octopuses here in the shallow rock pools. Like most things they can kill you but I can remember kids collecting them in glass pickle jars when I was young. One of those would be cool in that fish tank to give it an edgy look.

I’d like to add 2 small fish. I believe in giving them room to breathe.
