So it's dinnertime in the raito household. The young ones want Mom to stream a slice of prime 80's cheese from her phone to the little bluetooth speaker. The boy says, "Make it louder.' (gotta love him). Mom says she can't. Raito says, "But I can." The boy, being bright, asks, 'How loud?" My reply? "Shake the house loud." He says, "Go for it.!" Up the stairs I go to the library, wherein the conventional stereo makes it's lair. While making sure I'm connected to the NAS and hence the store of music, I turn that dial. Yes, that big one on the right. All the way as far as it will go. The children go absolutely nuts. My daughter is dancing like a chimpanzee. My son is trying to find the sweet spot between the speakers. Air instruments everywhere. Now they know the power that their father can wield (though I'm pretty sure the guitar amp can get louder). Here's the playlist: The long version of this one, though.
