Time to get an isolated supply, but not really needing (or wanting) to spend Voodoo Lab money. How is the BBE unit?

I've had a BBE Supa charger for years. Works great. It will deliver 3 different voltages (9, 12 and 16 V). It has 2 current output levels (100 or 200 mA). Some pedals need more than 200 mA (like Strymon Flint at 250 mA) but the BBE will work really well with most of the stuff out there.

I've owned one for 3-4 years, and never think of it except when I'm glad I have something so reliable running all my pedals.

I’ve had one for about 4 years. Works perfectly. No complaints.

very decent power supply, used one for years until I replaced it with a TrueTone CS12 as I needed the increased capacity and options.

I've had one for years and it works so well that I don't even think about it. Which, I guess, is the point of the thing.

Ive had one since 2011? Never had a problem with it. After comparing price and features between Voodoo Lab and the BBE I went with the BBE. It fit under my pedaltrain pro with the power cable lining up perfectly between the frame. The pedaltrain brackets to hold it in place also lined up perfectly with the units screw holes.

I don't own one, but I'm also curious. I've heard some questionable things about its "isolated power." Can anyone confirm (or deny)?

I was in the market for a power supply recently and I thought the BBE wasn't totally, individually isolated. I could be wrong.

I was able to get an mxr iso brick basically new for right around $90-$100. It’s pretty fantastic. Just another option.

Ditto for me. Fits in the Pedaltrain bracket for power supplies, too.

When I bought mine I was looking for one that was 100% isolated. Whatever I read at the time convinced me. I can't swear to it now, but I know if it isn't it doesn't matter.

As FMA said, "it works so well that I don't even think about it. Which, I guess, is the point of the thing."

Can't remember the URL, but there is a really good site out there that compares all the power supplies out there. Pretty in-depth. Anyone know the site (I need to bookmark it)?

I have had mine for ten years. Never an issue. Does the job.
