I'm getting older, but still play out alot.
Have a few amps, but looking for something lighter, but with firepower.
Kinda tired of the blues jr I've been using for a few yrs. As far as I can tell the bassbreaker 30 has proven reliable. The Tonemaster?.....i don't know.
I play alot of blues, classic rock, country, R&B

Wow, you waited 13 years to ask your first question!

    The Tonemaster will be fine.

    Looking for an amp?

I'm not a huge fan of bjrs. My supro blues king 12 is similar size but better sounds.

Of the bassbreaker I played, the 18/30 sounded best. They are each separate amps, not really bigger or smaller iterations of one amp.

Tonemasters, try one. Push it. You'll know if it works. Dynamics aren't there for me.

What's the budget? How much loud do you need?

I have a Tone Master Deluxe Blond, and it’s a fantastic amp. If you want to try something different, lots of us have recently jumped on the Supro Blues King wagon with some of the holiday sales going on now. The 12 would give your Blues Jr a serious run for the money.

Haven’t played a Bass Breaker, but my Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde really puts it out for me.

I play in a Texas band where everyone is mic’d through the PA. I was using a ‘65 Deluxe Reissue. I started using a Black Tone Master Deluxe in June. It was terrific. When the Blonde one came out, I got that one to use as a backup. I’ve been using the black one for country songs and the blonde one for rock songs. They sound great, have a direct out to the PA, an attenuator, and only weigh 23 pounds.

I bought a TMDR and IMHO it's better than every tube I played before

I wouldn't buy anything I couldn't get a schematic for, so my tech could repair it. Fender keeps Bassbreaker schematics a big secret so the only folks who can repair them are authorized Fender service joints. That's not a model for customer service.
