I recently traded a buddy for a Squier Bass VI, what a fun ride. As many of you know, it has the little switches for each pickup, and one that kills some bass so you can go through your guitar rig. The switches got me thinking. Can you add switches to a functioning tele pickup, and if so, what's up? What would be involved here?

I love the "Eldred Mod" and want it on a Nashville I'm putting together. I also wouldn't mind the original Esquire circuit, either, both for the bridge pickup. I presently have a 7 way switch set up planned. The woodworking part I can figure out, I'm just wondering if any other tele players have gone "switchy". Anyone got any ideas?
