Grand Funk Railroad - Some Kind of Wonderful

What else is there that you can play in a bar and is interesting to play on bass?
Ok, maybe just a top ten of your favourite bass lines.

You can play any song in a bar... as long as it's the right bar.

Also, any song can be interesting to play- it's up to you.

    Some of my favorites:

    Heatwave
    Time Of The Season
    Blood & Roses
    Mountain Song
    Diane

None of these are terribly challenging, just cool as hell.

Just as I was reading this, "Don't Do It", the live, Last Waltz version, by The Band, randomly played over my iPod mix...Rick Danko was a great bassist & musician.

Anything by Muse or Rage Against the Machine is fun to play bass on.
