Bass combo as clean guitar amp, or - ?

    What about something like a Polytone Mini Brute? Used by guitarists, bassists, and accordionists (Wait, is that really a word?!?)

    Ever consider one of the older analog (early-mid 90s) Fender SS combo amps?
    Great clean tones and take pedals really well. Light, small and some models are very loud.

    Any of the Class D mini bass heads would probably work well for you, if you can use whatever cabs may be on hand at the venue.

    Ampeg micro VR head is 200W, and goes for around $225-250 used.
