Are the Baroque brand fret edge files any good? Does anyone own one? I need a new file, these look good, but I don't want to lay down a load of money. These seem to have mixed reviews.

Watching this... similarly, I was looking at their fret erasers.

I have one. I’ve done a couple of crownings with it now. It has a very aggressive bite, so you’ll want to use a very light hand.

I have one and it works fine. I've done two fret levels with it and all is well...

I got one recently, I've only used it once but it did the job. I'd agree with the comments that it's pretty aggressive, so start with a light touch while you get used to it.

They seem to have resolved the quality control problems they were having at one point.

If you're the kind of person who's nitpicky and only satisfied with Stewmac type stuff you may not like it, but if you've been crowning frets with a regular file it makes the job a lot quicker and easier.
