I work very hard to come up with responses that infect people with earworms. Thank you for acknowledging my efforts!

Capn' I thought your avatar was an old portrait of Magellan or something, you know, Captain-ish, with the map of the world in the background. You can keep it if I have a vote.

Rob that pickup looks sick. You know, the good kind of "sick" the people talk about these days, like the good kind of "bad" they talked about when I was...oh heck never mind - it looks like a great pickup. Can't wait to hear it.

    Thanks Rex,
It's going in the pickup mule for a shakedown tomorrow. Report to follow.

    Hey CJ,
I was in wiring hell tonight. Great way to spend the evening. I found some diagrams claiming to do a neck/ neck-bridge series/ bridge with a Tele 3 way which is what I have in the pickup mule. None got the mid correct. All sounded out of phase. The coils individually are big and chimey. They sound great. To evaluate the assembly as a humbucker, I just wired the 4 leads as a traditional series humbucker. Through an MXR FET driver we have big and thick with lots of harmonics and chime.

Anybody know what kind of music Brainy liked? I never got into that with him.

He told me once that Fat Bottomed Girls was his favorite Queen song, but I don't know if that meant he liked Queen or FBG's was just the best of the worst. Maybe Sara will visit here and enlighten us.

Interesting question that probably most of us can't answer about each other!

Jack took the iPad with him to Grandma's

I have the new pick up wired in and ready to roll! Sounds phenomenal.

Video may have to wait until tomorrow depending on when they get back.

Uploading one more test with some distortion, then I'll try to think of a song to rock on. Naturally it's harder to decipher the differences with overdrive happening.

PLAY BALL! (I know, wat a crappy, trite thing to say) But that sounded awesome. When I stood up, my iPad fell on the floor!
