Here's the Washington based singer Suede

And here's the London based band Suede

And to be honest, no contest here, the latter is far better.

I can't stand posters who don't read threads. They don't care about another's contributions. That is horrible behavior on a forum.

    You sure about that?

That UK band Suede is hands down the most overrated band in music history. You read so many great things about them...then you actually listen to their music and you discover it is absolute garbage. Case in point: that song of theirs you posted.

I will admit I did buy one Suede record. I can't even recall the title (Mickey something) and it is one hell of a song. The guitar crazy intro is probably the best intro in rock history. Then the chorus comes and it is a letdown. But the guitar intro is so good the song is a worthy member to my record collection.

For somebody who just said that they didn't care about other's contributions, you're very much contradicting yourself here.

    How's that?

I don't have to agree with every post, but I sure do offer the common decency of reading the thoughts of others who post here.

But I DO have to point out that yes, you were the first to point out The Beat and the Beat but when Stratohacker mentioned them too and actually posted songs of theirs. You posted a a duplicate post using exactly the same songs and descriptions of both bands he gave and lashed out to people who called you out on that.

That's not a very decent thing to do.

I actually think it was the right thing to do. That guy copied my contribution so I just did the same to him. See how he likes it.

    Oh phooey...

In threads like these multiple people mention the same bands, usually they'll go "Ah, I see somebody beat me to the punch" or the guy who posted about them before hand will go "I already mentioned them."

Since when is when somebody mentions a band that somebody else has already named something which justifies a vendetta?

He showed complete lack of respect for others on this thread -- mainly me. Why can't you understand that somebody like that doesn't know how to behave on a forum and deserved the duplication of his post so that he could learn to behave better.

Anyway. here's Skid Row the band of the late great Gary Moore

And Skid Row the American band who legally purchased the name from Moore when the latter couldn't disagree on the fact that it was an awesome band name.

Thanks, I hadn't heard the music from the English Nirvana yet.
