The last two projects of any length I was in were named after songs!

I heard this in the grocery store one day and was taken aback that I'd never heard it before--all of those 80's songs were drummed into our ears a million times and are immediately identifiable after the first four bars, but here was one with all of the stylistic traits of those songs, but without the immediate familiarity. I had to go home and look it up.

I present to you "Living in a Box," by Living in a Box, off of their debut LP... Living in a Box.

Two local/regional bands a few years back.....both were Beatle cover bands (exclusively).
One based in Dallas was called A Hard Night's Day. (play on A Hard Day's Night)
The other, based in Ft Worth was Me and My Monkey. (a less known Beatles song)

Suburban Kids With Biblical Names get their name from a line in “People” by Silver Jews.

I thought Texas is the Reason came from a Lift to Experience song (“These are the Days”), but the date of the band’s founding precedes the Lift song. Turns out it’s from a line in a Misfits song (“Bullet”). Thanks, Wikipedia.
