I saw Bon Jovi 30+ years ago, before anyone knew who they were (opening for the Skorpions)

The sound guy did them so dirty.... All you could hear was bass and drums, after they got pelted with beer bottles for 20 minutes, they bailed out.... I remember thinking "Probably never hear from those guys again"

Just hit a concert over the weekend.

Switchfoot and Collective Soul @ The Factory in Deep Elum

You can see the venue in the picture, not a really large area but also not a small space.

I ran my DB meter about halfway through Collective Soul's set just to see where they were coming in at. I was shocked that it was right around 89-93Dbs on one of their rocking songs.

Most people like to talk. I don’t enjoy too loud.

Some of us still go to live music to listen to it, and don't want to hear people talk. I mean I really hate it, actually.

I realize people have been talking about vastly different kinds of music events in this thread, though. So if you're talking over someone doing acoustic air supply covers at a winery somewhere, just carry on. You're probably not bothering anyone.
