Built this during COVID. The band resumes gigs starting July 31st. I have a lot of nice guitars, this "partscaster" is as good as any custom build I have. Fat flamed Musikraft neck with SS frets, light ash Guitar Mill body/Beast routing, Lindy Fralin pickups. Sweet, chimey and bold.

So easy to play, sounds so good.

Is that Frankenstein’s monster on the headstock?

    2 humbuckers!? Blasphemy!

Yes. The art matches my build name.

It is a humbucker/P90 format, but these are pretty unique pickups from Fralin---not typical P90 or humbucker. The humbucker is called the Sunbucker, and tonally it is 75% single coil and 25% humbucker. The P90 has alnico rods instead of polepieces and is hum cancelling as well.

Guitar Mill calls this routing pattern on a Tele body The Beast model, and I like it.

The parts from last year, coming in and coming together. I sanded most of the "worn grey" look off the back of the neck and refinished it. Looks and feels better now.

Cool guitar and those graphics on the headstock are awesome! I actually just saw a butterscotch stein-o-caster tele listed on my local craigslist with a similar headstock decal. I feel like the fates are telling me to send them an email!

    Nice work!

I initially thought Bernie Marsden loaned you his famous Les Paul.

I love this. This is exactly how I react if someone says "oh a tele bridge pickup" about my partscaster. Sit down son, I'm about to school you on wire gauges, pole piece, magnets, how many virgin sacrifices were required, and Ohms. Although we all know Ohms are a measurement of pickup power so let me tell you all about why my pickup heights are important. But they'd be nothing if they didn't go through the cap I've bought from Germany especially for this guitar...

Partcaster man, they're the ultimate rabbit hole, and the bane of anyone who sits next to me for 3 minutes.

I've been gigging with this guitar. It has a lot of great sounds, but the neck pickup and neck/bridge tones are super great for clear blues/jazz/funk rhythms.
