I feel fortunate that it's worth more than I put in, but I'll never see any of it. Like to play too much.

Nine guitars (including one acoustic and one bass), three amps, and accessories... insurance value- $15,000, actual value- ~ $12,000.

Priceless to me, to the average Joe, worthless.

Approx. $10k, not counting drawers full of overdrive pedals, Strat pickups, and 12AX7 tubes. I estimated $3k for my 1969 Martin D1235, from the last year that they routinely used Brazilian rosewood. It would be worth at least twice that if it were a six string.

I've been living off the sales proceeds of a lot of my gear for the past year while work has been slow. There's not a lot left but most of what I do have left is priceless to me. Dollar wise some would have guitars worth as much as all the gear I have left.

I honestly don't have a clue. Are one-off prototypes from a semi-unknown guitar designer worth anything at all? Are rare, off-brand, boutique guitars worth more than their cases? I would expect that my Korean manufactured production guitars might be worth two-thirds to three-quarters of what their new prices were, if so, my entire group of guitars (25?) might bring $10-15,000 in total.

I have two guitar amplifiers, one 15 watts, the other 10, both purchased at pawn shops for not more than $150 for the both of them. I have a couple of low-end effects pedals, both also pawn shop purchases for no more than, maybe, $30 a piece.

On the bright side, I am about twenty pounds less now than I was in the photo.

The other bright side John is that you have what is most likely the most unique collection on the planet.
