Our Saturday football tradition is pulled pork sandwiches.
But with the cool weather coming on we are due for a weenie roast.
Ball park are our go to brand.

We LOVE these! ( All beef ones)
they are our go-to, #1, non NY/ Kosher-style hot dogs, at home.

    I wish every FF restaurant ( I don't care if it's Taco Bell, Chick-Fil-A ...) carried a hot dog!

    OK I'm weird here:

I like ketchup* on a hot dog
I like mustard on a hot dog

But like each separate rather than together on a hot dog ( not that I won't eat them that way)

I also really dig just a juicy plain grilled hot dog on a toasted bun

    * I know for some, ketchup on a dig is WRONG, but I like 'em

same. Wife always wants bratwurst. And don’t get me wrong. I like them. But sometimes you just want a regular ol dog. Lol.

I think you have it backwards. A good brat or bockwurst or kielbasa will plump/blow up when you grill them. It’s the others that are questionably industrial, haha.

Yup, still have the memory of hotdogs at Kezar and Candlestick Park. “Ball Park” all beef is my go to in a pinch, but really like the Kirkland signature 3 pack the most. I wrap the buns in foil to slightly warm up while grilling the dogs. Not quite that yummy steamed bun, but good enough. Frenches Yellow for that nostalgic sporting event ambiance.

Question for folks around the country: did you always (well, at least the last 50 to 60 years) have "Ballpark" brand hot dogs? Growing up in the Detroit area in the 60's and 70's we had Hygrade Ballpark Franks (yes, the plump when you cook 'em). Hygrade got bought by a larger national company and they closed the hotdog plant in Plymouth, Mi.

When I was a kid they made them for the microwave, they came in plastic sleeves that you nuked

Must have not been too popular I don’t remember them being around long

Edit: apparently they tried to revive them in 2010, the ones I remember are from the late 90’s there are a couple commercials on YouTube

I’ve always wanted a full size Oscar Mayer bologna, it’s like a giant hot dog!

Their bologna is fine I’ve never cared for their actual hot dogs, there’s something not quite right, maybe too tangy or something
