The chives are the topper of choice for me. Of course the Salt, Pepper and Sour Cream and a super cold beer.

Even the humble baked potato can drive us apart. Good lawd, y’all. Classics are fine but they aren’t the only thing and I promise I won’t ever try to force anyone to eat a potato topped with crisp salami, mustard butter, and caramelized onions.

It’s been one of my favorite garnishes for a lot of stuff lately.

Salt, pepper and butter, lots of butter, lots and lots of butter. When you think it has to much butter, add more butter.

Depending upon the situation I’ll do taters on the grill, in the oven, or in the microwave. I prefer the crisp skin from the grill or oven but when time becomes a constraint the microwave comes into play.
Use the tool that is necessary to get the job done in a timely factor

Another vote for chives. We grow them just for this reason.

Usually I go for butter, sour cream, salt and pepper.

I have had baked potatoes with chili as well. Add onion and cheese and yum!

Everyone's going to look at me funny, but just plain old salt. Sometimes pepper too. Butter rarely.

If I'm feeling real fancylike, a sprinkle of Nature's Seasoning:

Honestly, I really like the taste of plain old baked potatoes without much on them.

Jackets salted before baking. Butter, sour cream, pepper is sufficient. Green onions always welcome. And sometimes everything and anything. Dang I'm hungry now.

Still thinking about Larry Bud... and Brother Theo. "I looked into the abyss, and the abyss looked back. And neither one of us liked what we saw."
