Baja officially discontinued

    Then they select a case for us we don't like.

    I'd rather they kept the price down, and they give you a gig bag you can donate to someone you know that needs one, and you use the cases you already have.

    That would work if you don't want each guitar you own to have it's own case... I'm not sure the price is what I would call keeping it down at these prices... still worth it but I'll stick with my 'it should have a hard-shell case' line! :D

    Just bought my 50s baja for 20% off at GC memorial day sale for 599.00

    I see the vintura version lists for 1000.00 For what I paid allot of guitar, for a poly finished guitar without a hard shell case not so much at new price.

    Big difference in price for same guitar. Particularly because my favorite part of the guitar is the 9.25 v neck

    Totally agree and sadly some that cost $1000 or more come with neither.

    It looks like the Road Worn series has been discontinued also.

    It was kind of buried in that long Anderton's video on the series but the Fender rep they are talking with mentions that the Road Worns will now be limited editions; I think he says the first batch of limited run Road Worns will be in 2020.
