This one had me banging on the steering wheel and rocking like I was in Wayne's World, or something.
Hope Stan Polley is rotting in hell for screwing these guys over so badly.
Good band !!!
If the Beatles sign you, you should be ...
A band I was in covered a BF tune
That was close ta 40 years ago ...
Great band, great memories!
They’re one of the few bands from my youth I can still listen to.
It’s truly sad about Pete and Tom.
They left us all richer.
RIP, and thanks.
Same here, Ranger! We did "Baby Blue" and "Day After Day". I remember in "Baby Blue" (which I was lucky enough to have the lead vocal on), I couldn't wait til it got toward the end and I got to say, "my Dixie deeeeaaah..."
Wow, cool song, Charlie. I'd never heard this one before! In spots, the guitar riff reminds me a little bit of "Him Or Me, What's It Gonna Be?", by Paul Revere and the Raiders!
My duo, One Lane Bridge does Baby Blue, Day After Day and No Matter What.
They’re so much fun to play and sing!
Is that not Andy from Pro Guitar Shop on the left? Just sayin’....
Watched a documentary on these guys. Awesome band and what a tragic story. Evil money grabbing managers, drug/alcohol abuse, suicide etc. Fortune and fame ain't what it's cracked up to be.
Check out this video and Kenny Rogers looking all Bob Segerish.
and probably their signature tune...
Love me some BF.
Wonderful music,tragic events.
No Matter is one of my all time never tire of hearing songs.
Superb album! - loved it from the day it was released. If you've not heard it, try 'Wish You Were Here' - the last album with Pete Ham throughout. A sample of his brilliant contribution to this album:
