    Werner Herzog directed this film, he tells stories about people who get lost while on their way.
    an over simplification, standanding outside of the circle , becoming a stranger to the social contract, perhaps a strange to oneself.
    I like his films and those of the late Rainer Werner Fassbinder,

    I preferred the 1992 "bad Lieutenant" with Harvey Keitel.
    Mind you, I did feel the need for a wash afterwards.

    i loved the original with Harvey Keitel, the Nick Cage movie kind of sucked it

    I’ve never seen it...I probably won’t, since I avoid R-rated films...but I can see from the screen capture that Eva Mendes is in it...That poor girl, trying to make it through life with a face like that. (Note sarcasm font)
