    Thanks :) Same effects on both tracks, only the mix and the amount reverb is different in the mixes.
    Sorry forgot about the effetcs...eh!
    Old Maxon CS505 Insta-Chorus, Boss DD-3 with the old long chip(in other words a DD-2), drive is my Maxon OD808X.
    And one old analog direct amp sim! :)

    Sorry -- very late to the game, as usual. This is an ES-335 through an HX-Stomp with Adriatic Delay, Ganymede Reverb, and an IR created from my own Deluxe Reverb.

    @Kilgore Trout : beautiful sound and playing
    @miguelalmeida : sounds quite convincing jazzy!
    @Tuneup : just thought "which effects is Mike talking about?", and then they came. Like the synth and it´s use.

    Thanks Mike and Udoering!
    A month ago I wouldn’t record over a jazzy track (even a smooth one) so I think I may be improving and that’s in great part due to these challenges.
    I can’t stop praising tdpri to my friends. Thank you

    Got around to listening to the takes since I'm working from home today and doing a massive, 1.5M record, database update.

    @ASATKat (1) - Smooth and easy going
    @telekaster1999 - Jazzy but with hints of twangy blues
    @SbS - Plenty of room for the shrooms
    @fendrguitplayr - Twangy jazz
    @Mjark - Reverby and spacey jazz
    @bigbreak - Nice piano playing, brings to mind a smoky jazz bar
    @middy - Deep and smooth reverby tones
    @NWinther - (1) Nice tones and echoes (2) Driven tones, kind of fusion-ish
    @Alan L Cole (1) - Fusion-ish yet relaxed, unhurried
    @G-52 - Interesting use of echo, nice playing
    @Alan L Cole (2) - Kind of a Steely Dan outro feel
    @ASATKat (2) - Very laid back
    @ghostchord - Getting a little static noise in the background at points but a good take
    @udoering (1) - Smooth with occasional grit sneaking in
    @Mikejazz - Nice playing with soulful bends at points.
    @udoering (2) - It does sound like you got more into this track, nice take
    @Mjark - Sounds like you also got into this track more
    @guitarsophist - Nice take on the "hidden" track
    @Mellencaster - (1) Haunting echo/reverb (2) This track does seem to lend itself to a Steely Dan feel
    @Kilgore Trout - Smooth and chilled out take
    @miguelalmeida - Nice take, relaxed
    @Tuneup - A nice blend of tones

    I've been thinking about setting up the SY-1's effects loop feature to send out the guitar signal to a different amp/cab and mixer input so that I can get both sounds at the same time. It's kind of tricky though since unwanted noise can leak into the chain.

    This should be the slow one. I did two shorter ones of the upbeat faster song and I don't know what happened to them I probably twitched and pushed delete. These flat wounds started silver but they're so old they look like black tapewounds... Wasn't that an old roto sound product? I think i remember original Rickenbacker bass players telling me that the old instruments would void their warranty if you put round rounds on them, to the point where fretboards would come lose? I tried these songs with many different guitars and just kept coming back to that mellow flat wound sound.

    I just found the three minute versions today, I ran a bunch of those 10 minute ones yesterday. Man it's tough trying to keep something going all the way through those 10 minute ones. This should be that same song but with a dirtier guitar. I didn't like it anywhere as much.

    TwoBear - I always post a redux version for those long YouTube tracks. I'm glad you've joined in, very lovely takes, TB.
