THanks! Pulled out the strat with p90s for this one. Gots to make it funky! My funk influences? Red Hot Chili Peppers and Funkadelic.
Fun and funky, thanks Mike
That was tasty! Middle of the jam had so great runs and I liked the backwards sounding guitars as well...
I felt I'd lost my groove in sections
warthog Funkalious! Great lead runs and down dirty playing!
NWinther Very tasty Niels!Sweet fast and furious style with smoking tones!
My licks are maybe not the most creative ones, and there is room to improve. But it's a great backing track!
I used my Epi LP Jr for this one along with my Vox Trike octave fuzz.
My trusty Vibro Champ XD died a couple of days ago. This is Les Paul into pedal board into USB/Daw.
Oh what the heck...
here s mine
SbS Sweet lines all through and it sounds like your having fun . Enjoyable take.
fendrguitplayr Very nice theme. Sweet thick overdrive and nicely played with the two guitar tracks.
bgmacaw Sweet effect. Dirty funk tones work for me and very nicely played.
Mjark Too bad about your amp. Still, a sweet tone, and the LP got growl, lovely lines.
Kilgore Trout Very good funk tone and playing, Gary.Well done with the wah.
JCL50 Love your fat tone. Rock/funk playing sounds sweet , JC.
Here is mine:
Thanks Mellencaster, yes i do love funkeys
Ibanez RG550 and Axe-FX II - Princeton Reverb amp simulation.
@warthog - Good percussive playing with a strong funk sense. Nice bends and vibratos with loads of soul. The radio style mix gives a vintage feel.
@NWinther - Nice fuzzy mellow tone and phrasing. Well done.
@Mellencaster - Cool spacy deep verby tone, and tasty "all-terrain" rock-blues chops.
@SbS - Like the staccato intro and the short sentences so full of vibe. Nice synth like tone and wah bursts.
@fendrguitplayr - You always come up with something unexpected. Cool double lines and raw sparky tone.
@bgmacaw - nice approach with short sentences and a true fuzz tone.
@Mjark - Sorry about your Vibro Champ, that would be good. Nevertheless you worked out a nice huge spacey nasal tone for some fine riffs.
@Kilgore Trout - Liked the octaves at intro and the excellent articulate playing full of tasty bluesy dorian lines. Dig the wahwah too.
@JCL50 - Fine throaty tone and blues flavoured rich phrashing, with some cool fast runs.
@DrB - Great story telling with loads of funk feel and note articulation. The punchy telecaster tone fits this perfectly well.
Had some more time now and made a new version. I left few old bits too, but new guitar comes with more FX.
Great track as usual Mike. Thanks!
I heard a rhythm part first. It's hard to the left w/a Duo Sonic.
Lead is via my Ibanez 2629 Artist.
Its been a while since I played something, fingers are not moving as I like
@warthog thog - Cool... tight picking! Like it. A bit on the rocky side, all cool! Ripping! Good playing man!
