Strange, I was in Echo Canyon and I heard a flanged guitar echoing through the canyon. It was really beautiful, so I responded with this, quite a step up from smoke signals lol,

This is a iim7 V7 Imaj7 IVmaj7,,, only in reverse, that made it a bit challenging, this is an early take,

Tele neck pickup. I also added an organ. I couldn't help myself.

Well, a nice backing track, though there were no greater variations regarding the chords. And I selected another scale than suggested.

@fendrguitplayr : "Strat into flanger with some delay." I used the same gear resp Cubase effects. Not only that, we used the same scale. Like your clean tone, but would suggest that you filter out the very deep frequencies (if your recording gear allows that).
@ASATKat : lovely soundscapes and good chord work!
@guitarsophist : really sweet melodies, love that!

@udoering Even though it was 1 progression you kept interesting. Great tone Great leads.
@guitarsophist Sweet sweet tone and warm melodies. Nice!
@ASATKat really fit the name of the song. The notes seemed to bounce around. I liked it a lot.
@fendrguitplayr That was totally a strat tone. The flanger worked and you played great. Window down driving though the canyon.

    Another fun one! Thanks Mike.

This time, I didn't go for the 10min version! :D

80s MIJ Tele => Galileo Catalinbread clone kit build => Keeley Dark Side Rotary effect = AC15c1 with some amp reverb

A mix of intentional and unintentional chromaticisms towards the end.

@fendrguitplayr The delay works really well here. Some really good melodic ideas throughout.
    @ASATKat Beautifully atmospheric!
@guitarsophist Lovely tone and melodic lines.
@udoering Rockier (I expected no less by now!). Great playing!
@warthog Great playing. Despite the gain, it's quite dynamic.
@NWinther Very appropriate tone for the track. Great playing!

@ASATKat - Ah yes, the other side of the canyon. I hit that quote but couldn't remember the tune so thanks for that!
@guitarsophist - Sweet tone and riffs and nice mix with the organ.
@udoering - You rocked it with nice tone and riffage throughout.
@warthog - I liked the dynamics and edgy tone you chose.
@NWinther - Very cool take on this track. Your slurs and riffs combine for a nice listen.
@Mjark - Congrats on adopting Toby. Nice phrasing and tone throughout.
@Thoughtfree - Cool subtle take that sits in the mix well and great playing.
@Seasicksailor - Cool take, at times it sounded like a harmonica, nice one.
@bgmacaw - I like the slide playing here, clean and precise. Very cool.
