To continue in the spirit of non-standard time signatures, I thought I'd share this one. A few of us did this over at Strat-Talk a couple years ago, but even I want another go at this track I created when I wanted to play around with my bass one day. I'll give you two choices:

    Bass and drums:

Sounds cool Kevin. You can tell me to go-pound-salt here but we are not stepping on @Mellencaster 's toes here are we? He's run the Friday Challenge Thread for a long time. Just asking.

Thanks, Alan for speaking out, it's much appreciated but Kevin did ask me the other day and another time. I'll mention this now and what I explained to Kevin the last time.

You're all welcome to post your track and I have no issues with any of you posting a track for the Weekly Challenge. All I ask is to keep the title the same with the current track number so there's no confusion.

Just think of me as the weekly fail-safe, if nothing hasn't been posted before 8:30 pm Friday then I'll post a track for the week.
    :)

This got off on the wrong track and turned into a trainwreck but it was fun!

Sorry, I need to clean this mix up.

Thanks to everyone who's jumped on this. I almost skipped participating today. As I sat down to record, I got a call that one of my favorite uncles passed away this afternoon suddenly. He's 64. I'm in shock.

So I put the guitar down for a bit, but really didn't know what to do with myself, so I decided to just play whatever came out.

    RIP Uncle Don.

I can hear the soulful and melancholy feeling in your track. Again, I'm so sorry...

@knh555 - Sorry to hear that your uncle passed Kevin. Nice emotive track.
@fendrguitplayr - Esoteric, mystical and kind of weird in a cool way. Zodiacian...baby!

I think that worked just great. This is not an easy track to build on.

Well that was different! That came off as a 70's space jam to me, belonging in some wonderful low budget sci-fi film.
