Here's this week's track. Enjoy!
Thank you Mike:
Beautiful tone and melody. The harmonics at the end sound just right, not corny like they often do. Inspiring.
That was a really nice track to play with. You hear a one shot, first trial. I explored the possibilities of my DAW and corrected two wrong notes with the VariAudio-function. I don´t think you can hear which ones because the corrections were small ones.
@Alan L Cole : lovely version! It has an easiness with some outbursts; good use of harmonics.
@udoering - Nice production Ullrich, the track sounds great! Nice range of dynamics, tasteful doublestops and fine playing too, as always.
The Squier Thinline and the Blackstar in overdrive channel
@Alan L Cole - The harmonics are tight, lovely melodic phrasing and expressive in a minimal way but in a very good way.
@udoering - Lovely tone, dynamic and soulful. Well thought out playing.
What a find this is. Really nice. I wish I could have done it justice.
Did any one else feel like they were playing on a TV show theme?
- That was really nice Alan.
- It sure was. I just remove the bad notes I hear! It worked I didn't hear any. I like!
- What great combination and nicely paced licks.
Clean Tele into Garageband amp.
@Alan L Cole - Nice pickin' and sweet tone with some edge.
@udoering - A fine sound with good riffs all along the way.
@Mellencaster - The overdrive works well here and nice tone.
@Mjark - Cool relaxed take and some creative lines throughout.
- Sweet Tele tone and double stops all throughout.
Telecaster Baja 60s neck then bridge
- Pretty lines. The bridge pick up is really sweet.
Decided to go with standard tuning slide with this one, just to try something different and a bit challenging for me. Gear is Epiphone SG Special (SD Seth Lover bridge), EHX Tone Corset, SansAmp (tweed), Hotone Binary IR ('Dum Bell' Eminence 4x12 IR), Ammoon PockEcho (a little bit of subtle delay), Audacity reverb.
Mjark - I had not thought of it as a tv theme but now that you have mentioned it, yep
Nice intro with the rhythm and a nice thick tone on the lead guitar, lovely melody played!
fendrguitplayr - Guitar sounds sweet and a good feeling with the phrasing that fits nicely with the track.
JCL50 - Very nice lines and a lovely tone.Nice one JC!
bgmacaw - Passionate playing. A country like track with the slide at moments.
@Mellencaster - Man you ripped those intro harmonics Mike. Another track with great production. Beautiful playing and monster tone. Nice use of harmonics.
@Mjark - Great sounding track. Nice use of tremolo and vibrato. Southern Rock vibe at times. Nice!
@fendrguitplayr - Cool Country flavoured playing and sweet clean tone Mike. Like the use of doublestops.
@JCL50 - Sensitive and pretty playing. Nice tone and technique too. Sweet!
@bgmacaw - Nice tone and technique on the slide - stinging-and-singing like. Nice emotive take. Cool!
@Alan L Cole nicely played with the chords. cool tone.
@udoering nice sound and playing.
@Mellencaster great tone from your thinline creamy at the begining and more bitey towards the end. sensitive playing.
Thank you Mellencaster for the fun backer.
Used a Gibson Les Paul Junior plugged into the Axe FX II - Cornford 50 preset.
