    @Mellencaster - Nice track & congratulations to your daughter.
    @Mjark Nice. Leslie sound is good - what did you use?
    @Alan L Cole That's an interesting sound too - it has quite a hypnotic effect with your sparse phrasing.
    @knh555 Good use of dynamics
    @fendrguitplayr - interesting, two very contrasting sounds.

    Yesterday we had a remembrance and celebration at Terapin Crossroads in San Rafael for my friend Dave who recently lost his life to cancer, it was pretty fast.
    Dave had a lot of friends in the Grateful Dead community. 45 years being a dedicated Dead lover, he followed tours many times. Everything Dave got involved with was good.

    The band was great. Stu Allen playing guitar 1+ and a bands worth of top shelf bay area Dead players.
    They filled me with inspiration. I left feeling elevated with the abundant shared love.

    So I hear this new bt and the first thing I hear is a potential Dead vibe. I tried to channel my best Jerry but it came out pure Cliff(y)

    For Dave

    @knh555 - You've got a very nice signature style and sound with these melancholy tracks Kevin. Great tone and phrasing.

    @fendrguitplayr - Love that intro Mike. Cool tone, fx and sweet bluesy bends and playing.

    @Mjark - Deep diving via that intro rotaty fx. Nice rifferaging thereafter Mark.

    @estreet - Nice volume swells on the intro and impeccable control in your playing here Carl.

    @ASATKat - It's been awhile since I've listened to the Dead but if memory serves me, you've captured that vibe nicely. Nice tone and playing in this fine trubute to your friend, Dave. Cool outro.

    Thank you Alan, I appreciate your words.

    Yea the outro,, lol I had no idea what I was doing it could have gone into a space jam but the stupid band stopped.

    Thanks for the tone complement. The Katana is so intuitive I just think "I want Jerry tone" and the amp just let's me dial the tone in with no getting tonally lost, that never happens, and no deep editing, all I used are the gain bass mids treble reverb, and four killer modes clean crunch lead and brown.

    I can dial in an awesome Frusciante clean tone using the brown (hottest) mode with 0 gain, 0 bass, 0 mids, 0 treble and a just hint of its green od. Crazy, sounds like RHCP clean. Volume is fine.
