simoncroft I have to agree with Alan, smokin' tone and emotive playing. Very nice indeed.
@Alan L Cole : after stylistic variations with the last tracks, I love to hear the "old Alan" again. The dynamics of your playing reflect the dynamics of the track very well.
@bgmacaw : that was a very powerful track, guitar sound has something raw, which supports the power. Your melodies have a vocal quality.
@simoncroft : your clean guitar sounds like a pedal steel - beautiful! I´s well contrasted by the heavy distorted guitar on the choruses.
Leaving the comfort zone is a good thing. You did well.
-Your bag is pretty deep. I like the contrast between tones too.
Finally, I get to show off my "Shawn Lane" shred, maybe a little Govan,,,,
I mean miracles can happen,,,
You can do it
Nice track @Mellencaster! Thanks for sharing.
I put a four-way switch and a set of BYO Twister pickups in my Monoprice tele recently, so this was a chance to record something in the forth position. Also, I played a G major harmonica using a three note draw sequence (had to get an F# note from somewhere). And of course some garden footage:
MrClint Nice take MrClint, that harmonica really fills in well. I honestly thought of Neil Young .
Thanks @Mellencaster. High praise indeed, and with three draw notes on one breath! I so wanted a harmonica part for this track and a G Major harp was the best I could do with what I had. I appreciate the listen and the kind comment.
@MrClint : I totally agree with Mike. An alltogether good track; the harmonica comes unexspected, but fits in very well.
Cool @MrClint - dig that harmonica too!
Where as this before my second kid arrived lol? Nice work!
Thanks for the track...just got home from rehabilitation training....and got this one out of it!
Really like where you root yourself starting at the 1min mark and flower from there Niels.
- Awesome harmonica. Great idea. Beautiful lemon blossoms too!
- Your rehabilitation sounds like it's going well!
@Mellencaster, great idea to lead off with some harmonics. Nice throaty lead tone through out. The second guitar track adds a lot of depth to the overall presentation. This might be one of your best tracks yet!
@udoering, nice melodic playing through out as usual. Had a Spanish flare at times on the upswing. Well done.
@Mjark, nice mix! Tone was really crisp. I like how you keep things on the mellow side.
Nice rock tones and ideas compliment your tasty riffage.
Nice plank spankin' and riffage throughout.
Great sounding riffage and always love your dynamics.
Very cool intro with the overtones followed by some rockin' lines. Nice!
