Nice one. I couldn't get round to posting one this week and it's nice to have more input and something different. Cheers Kenny. Here's my take .. PRS Vela and POD XT live.

Very good duck blues, great quacking, hi energy without going overboard, and last but not least, nice dramatic phrasing.

Gotta say the pod sounded very nice. I also once owned the Pod XT Live. My favorite of the Pods.

    essteet ,

Last night I saw there was no track up so I decided to place this one up for consideration .
Loved how you wrangled some very expressive tones and guitar lines over the BT .Very nice playing you did here . thanks

I like what you did Mjark . I like to do one pass myself when I do stuff like this ( when I can ) some of your tones were choice right on the money ...Even said to myself why didn't I try that ? I may have to try a few of them out ....thanks

The tone of your bass sounds good . nice touch w the slide . I bet if you played over the B T that doesn't have my bass part it would have been great ...at least your track and playing does show the potential ...thanks
    all the best,

    Kenny

Are you playing slide on your bass? Totally cool.

No. Regular bass playing, though I am pining for a fretless. Slide is on the Strat. Maybe I should try it out though.

@estreet: very "ducky" sound, nice; solid blues playing. Good one!
@Mjark : you could have had a little more volume. Asides from that, a good track full of energy!
@knh555 : I instantly liked the idea to play bass along the bt, but I have to say, when the guitar came in, there was sometimes too much going on. Solid guitar sound and slide playing (as usual).
@bgmacaw : some lovely old fashioned guitar sound, played well!

Certainly. I was focusing more on me having a good time than the listener on this one ;) and only had enough time to quickly bang it out without putting much thought into it. Done right, the bass and guitar would coordinate better when both playing, and come in and out to give each other more space.

@KennyWTelejazz : oh yes, I dig that sound, and your playing even more! To my ears there´s a lovely southern taste.
@NWinther : judging by this track, you are reconstituting your health; sounds very much like Nils, e.g. powerful playing with some special licks!

    bgmacaw ,
Your tone reminds me of some of the classic 60's guitar sounds I would hear back in the day before the British invasion fully took hold ...
I like the sections where you left a little breathing room between phrases .good job .

    Ullrich ,
Good storytelling in the beginning , nice and relaxed , not rushed .
Then you amp 'ed up the tone and dropped the hammer when the wah pedal came in ..intense man ...I liked the octaves ...they grabbed my ear , could be something to consider using them more often ...
Octaves sound great with distortion .

    all the best,

    Kenny
