Newbie here...not sure if my dues paid...or if this track is up to muster. But thought it'd be a good one to possibly add some noodling over.
But...I thought I'd reach out... It heavily resembles a Beth Hart tune....not sure if that's allowed either?

Welcome, we be nice guys here, Love Is A Lie makes for a great backer, I will have fun playing over it. Beth is absolutely great. Glad she is healthy. We need more stellar blues singers like her.

This is how the mojo goes.

@mixmkr 2023 I'd like to take a swing at this but there is no download button. You need to indicate that in SoundCloud
Cheers
Roger
I noticed that...and wasn't sure if it was because the link was to my SoundCloud acct. I'm looking how to change that and any suggestions greatly appreciated...

OK...should be available for download. If not. ...lemme know... thanks for noticing that too!

@[email protected] ..you've got THE tone to die for, fitting this tune perfectly. Some tasty licks in there too. And it is blended in and mixes well too... Cuts thru the mix without extra volume. I'm a sucker for reverb and delay too!
@Alan L Cole ... you need therapy!! ha! The intro is totally sic.... love it. Another well mixed where your tone cuts thru without having to be the dominate volume. You sound comfortable jamming over this. The video needs the 2nd session of therapy when you've finished yours!! lol!
@telekaster1999 ... cocked wah... another great mix sound that lets your licks slice thru the mix, without drowning out everything in it's path. Like how you take your time moving up the neck. The pauses work well...rather than a shred fest. Lets me catch my breath.
@Gytaurust ...oh yeah... many talents.. I'm guessing you could have sung over this as well. The sax was totally unexpected but fits great. Nice lines without trying to spew out squeaks and squawks. You play like a singer would sing... imagine that! I really liked this.
@Mjark.. Nice build up....then a taste of flash. Then back to something more melodic....as you slide up the neck. TOO SHORT! It almost sounded like Gytaurust's sax at first...but then it morphed into more recognizable guitar sounds. That's hard to do. Well done....jus wanting dessert!

Thanks mixmkr 2023. The scarry thing is that I've been in thearpy for many years leading up to my current state of "normalcy" ;). Your backing tracks are great - thank you and keep 'em coming!

Thanks Mix,

I'm on the Brown mode of my Katana.
I'm using my ASAT Special and my PRS

This track reminds me of something the great Imelda May might sing on.

I gotta pay my bill, it's not letting me post, dag nab it,
